It’s Getting There…
:thumbup: Well, it’s finally starting to look like a website, I think. I changed the music link to a nice button now that is more visible. Obviously I changed the theme as well. I had a chatroom set up on the other theme, but for some reason it’s not showing up on this one. Guess that really isn’t that big of a deal at this point. I think my links work, the music works, I can post and people can comment, and that was the main objective.
I just want to know how this looks to other people when they come here. I haven’t checked it with different resolutions or different browsers, so those of you who use Firefox or other browsers other than IE, I’m especially curious to hear from you on how the site looks. Feel free to drop a comment if you have any other suggestions or if there is a bug that I’m not aware of. I’m not sure if my smilies are working right yet and it looks like I’m missing some images on the comments page, maybe gravatars or something? I’m not sure yet on what the missing images are.
Well, it’s late and I need sleep. I think I’ve done enough work on this for a day…:whatever:

Just wanted to stop by and say again CONGRATULATIONS on your own domain! It’s looking great! Can’t wait to see where this new step will lead you.
And my free host changing things was exactly what drove me to get my own domain too. Ever so glad I did and wish I would have done it earlier.

Thank you all for stopping by and letting me know how things are looking. There are several other things I still want to do, but at least it seems to be functioning okay at the moment and I haven’t had anyone say the site is looking screwed up in their browser or their resolution. That seems to be the biggest problem at times, is to get something to look right in all browsers.
Orb, you’ll have to tell me how it looks on a Mac once you get yours. :jap:

I use Firefox, and it looks fine in that. Congrats on taking the plunge and getting your own domain. I can’t wait to see what you do with it.
Oh– and I like the little button-things you use on your sidebar links!

Thank you. I think those little button thingies were part of this theme. I added the music link button, the Jack Handey Daily Deep Thought thing, the title on the top of the page and the little cats looking down on the commentator’s name. Other than that, the theme is pretty much unchanged.
